Learning to live as engaged followers of Jesus
Act Five is a discipleship program based out of Hamilton, ON, that leads young people toward a rooted & engaged life of discipleship. Specifically, Act Five operates a community home for 20+ young people to live, learn, grow and worship together while engaging as a presence in our neighbourhood and city. Within this work, our flagship gap year program takes a group of 17-20 year olds for 8 months to invite them into this community along with an array of trips, classes and experience that expand their vision of the Christian life and deepen their walk with Christ, with the hope of richly preparing them for a life of discipleship in this world as they discern next steps.
The Male Resident Leader position with Act Five walks alongside these students over the course of the year, living in community at the Act Five home, participating in trips, facilitating the students’ discipleship both in mountain moments and through ordinary life together. We are seeking someone who might commit to a minimum of 8 months with us, with opportunities to extend this time with us.
