Burlington Christian Academy (BCA) is a vibrant, Christ-centred educational community in Burlington, Ontario, dedicated to nurturing the whole child, spiritually, academically, and socially. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time Kindergarten teacher. This role provides the opportunity to teach and guide students in a variety of subjects while fostering their faith and academic growth.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary Kindergarten Teacher, supporting students’ daily learning, social-emotional growth, and spiritual development.
- Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and curriculum-aligned lessons.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing meaningful feedback and progress reports to parents.
- Foster a safe, joyful classroom culture rooted in respect, collaboration, and Christian values.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with parents, guardians, and colleagues to support student success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education and teaching certification (OCT preferred).
- Demonstrated experience teaching in kindergarten and/or primary school grades.
- Strong background in Language Arts and a passion for engaging students in reading and writing.
- A vibrant Christian faith and active participation in a local church.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
