WHO ARE WE? Business as Mission, affectionately named “BAM” for short, is all about stewarding your workday for God’s glory. We spend most of our lives at work. God calls us to use anything and everything to expand His Kingdom, including business…! We are a non-profit launched by the GlobalWorks team, and believe business has the power to transform people, whole communities, cultures, and the environment for the glory of God. Together, we bridge the gap between the perceived sacred and secular divide. We’re a small but mighty team that loves building into our interns passions and skills – giving you career and skills-coaching on a weekly basis, as well as the opportunity to really build into an organization where your voice is valuable and your ideas are needed. We believe in the next generation – and in your skills and perspectives.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Video Editor & Storyteller, you will be working within our small, but high-impact team. Under the guidance and in weekly 1:1’s with the Marketing Lead and BAM Canada’s co-founder, you are a rockstar that loves all things innovative video, marketing and telling stories through this medium – you have no problem taking initiative and problem solving creative ways to get things done. Since our organization is involved in entrepreneurship, marketing and business, your goal is to engage and promote the awareness of BAM Canada’s brand, initiatives and programs. Some projects you will be involved in:

  • Video podcast editing
  • Video content for promotional, marketing materials
  • Creating storytelling videos (for GlobalWorks)

Knowledge and previous volunteer/work experience in video and audio content creation is required (Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition). We use Asana for all things project management, and Microsoft Teams for communication.

INTERESTED IN APPLYING FOR OUR INTERNSHIP? The internship starts January 8, 2024 and will be completed by April 12, 2024. We are aware that 120 hours are needed for the Redeemer Internship credit. This typically equals to either 10 hours/week for the semester. If you’re not looking for credit, we can work can work out an agreement for 5-8 hours/week where you will gain meaningful work experience.
