WHO ARE WE? Business as Mission, affectionately named “BAM” for short, is all about stewarding your workday as Mission – for God’s glory. We spend most of our lives at work. God calls us to use anything and everything to expand His Kingdom, including business…! We are a non-profit launched by the GlobalWorks team, and believe business has the power to transform people, whole communities, cultures, and the environment for the glory of God. Together, we bridge the gap between the perceived sacred and secular divide. We’re a small but mighty team that loves building into our interns passions and skills – giving you career and skills-coaching on a weekly basis, as well as the opportunity to really build into an organization where your voice is valuable and your ideas are needed. Our Summer Student positions this year will be May 8th – June 30th 2023. Each position will be paid $17/hour for 35hours/week. Knowledge and previous volunteer/work experience in each position is required – as we are an entrepreneurial startup, you’ll experience a high level of impact and engagement in your work with us! 🚀
Your pre-application MUST be submitted before the deadline, and you can expect us to reach out to you MID-APRIL to confirm your position and invite you to begin the interview process (below).
Here’s what you can expect at every stage:
1. We’ll give you a practical interview assignment to complete (we’ll attach the job description in this email).
2. You’ll be scheduled for a virtual interview call (mid/end of April).
3. You’ll receive a letter of offer and will begin onboarding during your first week.
