Calvary Christian Reformed Church of Dundas is a friendly, inviting, and stable congregation in the semi-rural are of Dundas just outside of Hamilton, Ontario. We are currently seeking a part-time Church Connections Director (approximately 20 hours a week) to support the weekly activities and communications of our active church family.
We are seeking an outgoing and organized person with a passion for ministry engagement to fill our part-time role of Church Connections Director. This role fosters connections in 3 ways at Calvary: connecting members to one another, connecting members to ministries where they can serve, and connecting new people to the church. Primary responsibilities include fostering connections among members, coordinating and recruiting volunteers for our current ministries, seeking new ministry opportunities with support from leadership, and promoting our ministries internally and externally. Experience is an asset but not required. We are willing to train the candidate we believe can succeed in this role.
Approximate time commitment is 20 hours per week, but hours are flexible depending on the qualified candidate’s passions and gifts.
The preferred candidate would be a member of good standing in the Christian Reformed Church, though we welcome members in good standing at other churches to apply. A complete job description with roles and responsibilities is available upon request.
