POSITION:   Marketing Specialist

 

Role Description

The Marketing Specialist reports to the General Manager and will support and execute a broad range of marketing and business development initiatives across the company’s portfolio of brands. This includes Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, and Business Development across key markets, channels, and customers, along with other project management duties as required.

 

This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with direct impact on brand growth, customer experience, and commercial success of the business.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Brand Marketing

• Storm Towel: Support the execution of brand marketing initiatives for Storm Towel, including content creation and general brand support across wholesale and consumer channels.
• Jones Sports Co.: Assist in the adaptation and rollout of Jones USA marketing initiatives within the Canadian market.
• Hathway Stewart Lifestyle: Support brand marketing efforts for the women’s line, including assisting with content creation and marketing materials.
• Fyfe Headcovers: Assist with the launch and ongoing marketing of Fyfe including tournament and green grass initiatives.
• Maintain and update company websites, including the HS Player Boutique e-commerce platform.
• Assist in the development and organization of brand marketing materials (photography, video, and digital assets) for ongoing campaigns for all brands.
• Coordinate with external marketing partners as needed, including photographers, designers, and agencies.
 

Customer Marketing

• Develop customer-facing marketing materials including annual product catalogues, inspiration guides, sell sheets, and in-store POS materials.
• Produce order proof books and custom presentations for key accounts as needed.
• Support and guide co-op students (as applicable) in the execution of customer marketing initiatives.
• Assist in planning and administering customer promotions, programs, and merchandising contests.
• Develop customized digital marketing content for customer-specific campaigns targeting members and end consumers.
• Support the digitization of customer logos for embroidery and digital heat transfer applications.
• Participate in weekly decoration production meetings to align marketing and production workflows.
• Support in-house decoration production and sample development as needed.
• Coordinate sales and marketing tools for Sales Agents, including samples, collateral, and trade show materials.
• Support preparation and execution of trade shows, including booth setup, teardown, and on-site participation.
 

 

Business Development

• Support marketing initiatives that drive online sales through the HS Player Boutique e-commerce platform.
• Execute marketing strategies targeting:
o Canadian and U.S. Green Grass (golf course) market
o Corporate gifting and promotional markets
o Schools and team programs
• Support lead generation, customer outreach, and order facilitation across these channels.
• Assist in the development of go-to-market strategies for key brands and product categories, including Storm Towel, Jones, Fyfe and Hathway Stewart Lifestyle.
• Potential future involvement in supporting or coordinating independent sales agents across key markets.
 

 

Structure

• 12-month contract (Maternity Leave), with potential for extension
• Reports directly to the General Manager
• Full-time position
• Compensation: $45,000 annually, paid bi-weekly
• Eligible for 2 weeks paid vacation annually (pro-rated in first year)
