We are seeking a visionary leader with proven leadership skills and a heart for outreach and evangelism to youth in the Highlands Region (location to be determined).The Community Director will focus on maintaining existing and developing new local partnerships with churches, community agencies, and schools. Identifying, inspiring and engaging volunteers will also be an essential aspect of the role.

Requirements:

5+ years’ related experience in a similar leadership role
Strong personal-spiritual vitality
Active participation in a local church body
Confidence in relational ministry
Strong organizational and administrative skills
The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
The successful candidate will become part of the 16-person Highlands Youth For Christ (HYFC) staff team. Team members meet regularly for prayer, support, training, and personal development. An Area Director will oversee your ministry and assist with your development and YFC Canada training.

The salary of this staff position is determined on a scale based on education and experience and is funded on a missionary basis—requiring the gathering of a personal support team to cover the salary. Benefits are available.
