Job Summary (two positions available)
Youth Camp Program Lead: Plan and implement the Youth Camp Program (week long camp ages 13-16), including Bible studies, wide games, and camp activities (archery, rock climbing etc.). Provide oversight, support and leadership to Youth Camp Counsellors and campers.
Crew Program Lead: Plan and implement the Crew Leadership Program (4 week program ages 16 & 17), including Bible studies, leadership development activities, and service projects (camp cleaning & kitchen duty). Provide oversight, support and leadership to Crew Counsellors and campers.

Problem Solving: Creative and quick thinking is stress full situations, able to assist in crisis situations using de-escalation skills
Positive Outlook: Ability to engage in regular physical activity (running, rock climbing, etc.) and make camp activities fun and exciting
Flexibility: Ready and willing to adapt and serve as needed given the ever changing demands of Summer camp ministry
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
– May – June
o Plan, organize, prepare, and pioneer all aspects of Youth Program/Activities
o Plan and prepare devotionals, Bible studies for Youth Camp/Crew
o Participation in Staff Development/Meetings
o Administrative duties as assigned/required
o Cleaning duties on team rotation with other staff
– July – August
o Execute and coordinate all aspects of Youth Program/Activities
o Supervision and oversight of Youth Camp Counsellors/Crew Counsellors
o Lead, facilitate, devotionals and Bible studies for Youth Camp/Crew
o Sleep in Yurts with Youth Counsellors and Campers
o Participate in camp wide activities (wide games, chapel, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications and Skills:
· Experience working with underprivileged youth and families in any setting
· Degree in Youth work, Ministry or Outdoor Recreation an asset
· Camp Ministry/Outdoor Recreation and Leadership Experience an asset
· Class 5 Driver’s License is an asset

Able to provide Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Search
A letter of reference from a ministry or church is an asset
