Redeemer University hires business students during the academic year. This is an excellent position for putting the lessons learned in the classroom into practice. It is highly beneficial for a resume to include some business experience. In the past, we have been happy to be listed on job applications as a reference.
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is required. Training will be provided on Colleague, our accounting software. Confidentiality must be maintained at all times.
Brief job description:
Assist accounts receivable clerk and accounts payable clerk when workload is high.
Help with monthly reconciliations for internal use.
Record assets in fixed asset tracking system.
Enter manual journal entries into Colleague.
Act as receptionist for finance area.
Other tasks as assigned.
Each student generally works 6-8 hours per week.
