The Position:
As a vital member of the Athletic Centre team, you will play an essential role in assisting the department in achieving our vision for patrons to seek excellence in fitness and recreation as an act of worship for the glory and honour of Jesus Christ.
The Redeemer University Athletic Centre exists to serve the student body, Faculty, Staff, and surrounding community by offering excellent fitness and recreation facilities. You will be the first point of contact for our members and will be part of a team responsible for overseeing the operation of a professional recreation facility.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop the following skills:

Responsibilities:
Be the first point of contact for patrons regarding inquiries, requests, and complaints
Daily facility cleaning and maintenance
Distributing and collecting recreation equipment
Laundry services for members
Athletics Camp Assistant
Recreation Administration
Scheduling appointments
Answering and responding to email and phone inquiries
This employment contract will begin on May 1, 2025, and conclude on August 31, 2025, with the possibility of re-hire for the academic year. Successful applicants will be required to work 5-8 hours/day.
Other Requirements:
Customer service driven with an enthusiastic attitude
Ability to lift 25-pounds
Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Knowledge of athletic and recreation equipment is an asset
Proven ability to work independently with strong priority-setting skills
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify concerns and recommend solutions
Education/Training:
First Aid / CPR-C / AED required
