Seeking Customer Service Representatives for a part-time position (15-30 hours a week) with a privately owned Service Ontario Centre. This is a fast-paced work environment serving a diverse range of customers in Hamilton, Ontario. Hours of work can be Monday to Wednesday 9am to 5pm, Thursdays 9am to 7pm, Friday 9am to 5pm, and Saturdays 9am to 1 pm.
Duties will include providing information and issuance of health cards, driver’s licence, licence plates, Auto Dealerships (OMVIC), Ontario photo cards (OPC) and other related products and services.
Qualifications include attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure quality work and accuracy; experience handling cash, credit card payments and point of sale machines, keyboarding and database administration skills to enter information and submit inquiries into Service Ontario systems.
Candidates require analytical and communication skills to understand MTO and MOH systems and willingness to follow Ontario government policies and regulations.
The ideal candidate has experience providing front-counter customer service in a fast-paced environment; excellent customer relations skills and the patience needed to deal with a diverse group of customers and their needs. Staff work as part of a team as we strive to have a friendly and respectful work environment. Experienced candidates are ideal however we are willing to train if you are willing to learn.
We are a privately owned company, and this is not a government job. Benefits are not currently offered, and the job will require a lengthy period of time sitting/standing and working on a computer.
