Head Academy Technical Coach- Toronto Athletic FC Academy

Position Description: As a Technical Coach at Toronto Athletic FC Academy, you will be responsible for providing high-quality coaching to players of various ages, helping them develop their skills, teamwork, and passion for soccer. You will have the opportunity to work with enthusiastic young athletes and contribute to their growth on and off the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Training: Design and implement comprehensive training programs focused on improving players’ ball control, technique, and overall skill level.
Player Development: Work closely with individual players to assess strengths, identify areas for improvement, and create tailored development plans.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure consistent coaching methodologies and alignment with the academy’s overall philosophy.
Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to assistant coaches, fostering their professional growth and development.
Performance Analysis: Utilize video analysis and other tools to evaluate player performance, track progress, and identify areas for further development.

Qualifications:

A minimum of a National Coaching Certificate or equivalent, with a strong foundation in soccer coaching methodologies and practices.
Proven experience coaching youth soccer at an elite level, with a track record of developing players’ technical skills and abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and motivate players of various ages and skill levels.
A deep understanding of the game, including tactical nuances and strategic approaches.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Experience: Technical coaching: 2 years (required)

License/Certification: National Coaching Certificate (required)

Job Type: Part-timePay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week

Schedule: Evening shift
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed

Ability to Commute: Toronto, ON (required)
