Wee Creations Christian Preschool is a licensed child care center that has operated for more than 25 years out of Woodstock Ontario. As a Christian-based program, we focus on fostering growth, development, and faith in our students. Wee Creations is dedicated to providing a nurturing and supportive environment for young children aged 3-5.
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a candidate who loves working with children, is creative, enthusiastic, and who brings a positive attitude to the team. An ideal candidate would also have a strong commitment to Christian values and a dedication to early childhood education. The preschool operates on a half day schedule in the mornings (every weekday morning, 5 days per week), so please note this is not a full-time position (we anticipate the hours will range from 25-30 hours per week).
Responsibilities
plan and implement engaging morning programs for children from 8 AM to 12 PM, Monday to Friday
create a positive and inclusive learning environment
support the physical, emotional, and social development of children
communicate effectively with parents and guardians
ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the program
ensure compliance to relevant governing legislation
perform general administration duties
Requirements
While registered early childhood educators (RECEs) will be given hiring preference, please do not hesitate to apply if you think you’d be a good fit for the job but are not an RECE.
Other job requirements include:
ability to teach about the Christian faith and values
First Aid and CPR certification
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
criminal record check
