Poll Clerk, Elections Canada
As a poll clerk with Elections Canada, I aided in the setup of a
polling station. I then proceeded to prepare forms and maintain
records throughout the day to ensure that the elector’s name was on
the list, that it matched the provided ID, and make sure that the
elector had not already voted. At the end of the voting day, I tallied
up the vote sat my station and then gave the results to the poll
supervisor.

Registration officer, Elections Canada
As a registration officer, it was my job to help those who wanted to
vote but for whatever reason could not. Often times it was just a matter
of updating the information that elections Canada had on the person.
For example, if the elector had moved and not notified Elections Canada,
I would then have them do a registration form which would enable them
to vote and at the same time would update their information in the Elections
Canada file so that next election they would not have that issue.
Other times it was much more complicated as for example the elector
was listed as having already voted so it was my job to ensure that
they had not voted.
