Empowerment within diversity is a beautiful privilege to witness and be a part of. I am an expressive arts therapist with a social work background. In summary, I’ve worked with: Indigenous peoples/communities, Christian communities, peoples of diverse abilities, newcomers (immigrants and refugees), youth, children, women, seniors, and intersectionalities of all the above. I love diversity and expressions of culture. Graduated with honours and distinction. Did practicum at the KW Multicultural Centre helping immigrants and refugees with settlement and pre-employment needs. I also worked on an independent project about educating newcomer’s about Canadian Indigenous history in the land in downtown Kitchener.
